Finally the day we started our most awaited road trip (but sudden planned) to Bhubaneswar from Bangalore (Bengaluru), that was 23rd Dec 2018. But it was sudden plan i would say. We decided on it by 5 pm and at 7 pm we took our car out of our parking lot. Before started we just booked our room (OYO room instantly) in Tirupati. As it is 5 hrs journey from Bangalore, we decided to take rest at night there. After 4 hrs continuous drive at 11 pm we just stopped for tea.

It was damn cold and fog was clearly visible in dark night. We were very excited to reach soon in Tirupati. We filled Fuel in a Shell Petrol pump which is located after 80 km from Bangalore towards Tirupati Road.

Around 12:25 finally we reached in our hotel in Tirupati and we are done for the day. We planned to start next morning within 7 am.

Next morning we started from the hotel at 7:30 am.

On the way around 8:30 am, we had a local breakfast like idli, vada, and sambar. It refreshed our test buds.

Towards Vijayawada
Then we drove continuously to reach Rajahmundry as soon as possible. We reached at 2pm at Rajahmundry and had lunch there. Specialty was rice sambar and some chicken curry.
As we had some time for dawn we decided to move for Vishakhapatnam. After 3hrs journey again we stopped for relaxing, had some tea, refreshed and started again.
We started booking our hotel on the way. It was a difficult process to book with internet interruption. Somehow booked the Oyo room in Vishakhapatnam. After having dinner we reached the hotel and took rest for the night.

Next day morning after getting fresh we started from the hotel and headed for Yarada Beach. It was good start and we really liked the scenic beach.

Yarada Beach is on the west coast of Bay of Bengal in Yarada, a village at a distance of 15 kilometers from Visakhapatnam.
We enjoyed a lot in the beach. Came back from there to the city and had breakfast. Around 10:30 we started to come out of the city. Two-way roads are not smooth as constructions works were going on in between and public don’t have traffic sense as well. We crossed other cities in Andhra like Palasa, Amaravati, Guntur etc.

We were on NH 16 from Rajahmundry and we had to be on same NH till Odisha. It is around 8hrs drive from Visakhapatnam to Odisha. We were eagerly waiting to see Odia signboards. Finally, Our wish fulfilled. With great excitement, we reached The border of Berhampur
We saw the first sign board with Odia letters and become very happy. I immediately clicked one photo.

We were very hungry and the timing was about 3pm. it was max 3.5hrs to travel to reach our destination Bhubaneswar. We had tasty food in lunch. Rice, Dal, Vegetable fry, Prawns curry and chicken Curry. Around 4:20 pm we crossed Rushikulya River. About 6:30 pm finally we reached Bhubaneswar.

It was really awesome to take up this adventurous trip. On the way we enjoyed the scenic beauty of nature what we would like to see always. It felt that after long time we can feel the natural beauty and so much greenery was making eyes cool. Sunrise, Sunset, hills, rocks, trees, water, flowers, paddy fields and many more things added the extra pleasure to our travel. This will be always one memorable trip.
Coming back again it was one awesome journey but we were very much tired and was feeling sleepy.
We started from Bhubaneswar around 5am. Crossed Berhampur at 8am. I was very sleepy throughout the day. By 7:30pm we reached Rajahmundry and decided to stop and stay there that night. Instantly we booked hotel with limited internet access though it was very difficult. I couldn’t able to open my eyes, was very sleepy.
Somehow we managed to reach hotel, freshened up and went for dinner in nearby restaurant. We ordered prawns fry (Andhra Style)and roti there. The curry was tasted amazing. We liked the food very much and returned to hotel. Next day morning we started from there, had breakfast and lunch on the way. After 886 km drive in one day we reached Bangalore around 10:30 pm. We had tea on the road side shop, reached home tired.
At last it was an awesome adventures trip. Looking forward to have more trips like this in future.
